'Anveshan' is an annual All India Heritage based music event organized by ITIHAAS-The Indian, Traditions and Heritage Society with the aim of encouraging young students from all over India to explore and experience their local heritage. It provides the school students a unique opportunity to venture out, collect information, stories, lore and legends linked to their local culture, traditions and historical landmarks and weave them together into a melodious song. The competition was held at LTG Auditorium New Delhi on Wednesday, 29th August 2018. 15 schools from all over India were selected after the Zonal rounds where more than 8000 students participated. 23 students from St. John's High School, Chandigarh of classes VI-VIII participated in this event and won the First prize along with the coveted song of the year award. The students were guided and trained by Mr. Michaelangelo Francis and Mr. Arun Nathan. The song "Yeh Desh Tera Mera" is written and composed by senior students Ravi Bansal and Aseem Verma. The song speaks about the prevalent evils that suppress the society from growing and how these evils prevent inclusion of people from all walks of life.
