Description: To understand and raise awareness about Thalassemia to support those affected by the condition and reduce the tyres stigma associated with it. An introduction by a Johnian to start of the day, followed by a prayer in Sanskrit to seek the blessings of the Almighty. A student explained the importance of Blood donation and struggles of people with Thalassemia. Some boys performed a street play on the myths related to blood donation. Boys gave information on traffic rules and the day's news . The assembly concluded with the ' Thought for the day '.
