Description: ‘Blessed Brother Edmund Rice's spirit moves amongst us. Open your heart to the cry of the poor.' The introduction to the assembly gave an insight to the inspiring life of Blessed Brother Edmund Rice. Edmund Rice Feast Day assembly paid tribute to the founder of the Christian Brothers. The students through their eloquent speeches colourful placards and a symbolic passing of the flame signified his vision being passed down generations through the Edmund Rice Institutions. His life story was very creatively encapsulated through a myriad collection of photos and sketches. The choir sang a soulful hymn in praise of Br. Edmund Rice highlighting his qualities of hope, love and kindness. It was a heart-warming assembly that left a lasting impression on all the students.
