Friday 22.2.19 was a day of a lot of excitement and fun for the Class 1 boys and teachers. It was a SPECIAL TREAT from our Principal Mrs. Kavita. C. Das for the boys of
class 1. The boys went for a picnic to Shanti Kunj and Bouganvilla garden. The rain and cold could not dampen the spirit of class 1. The boys enjoyed playing in Shanti Kunj
and did exercises in the open air gym. Climbing trees was very exciting for them. Next, they visited the War Memorial at the Bougainvilla garden and paid homage to the martyrs. They were explained the relevance of the memorial and they saluted the brave men who had sacrificed their lives for India. To the surprise of the teachers, the boys
were well informed about the latest developments between countries. No wonder our Johnians are a class apart!
Later they drove around the Rose Garden, the Secretariat, the High Court, the Rock Garden, and the Sukhna Lake
It was a fun-filled day for everyone.
The picnic motivated them to excel every year and enjoy special outings.They thanked their Principal and coordinator for everything.
