St. John’s High School is an established, all-boys, English Medium, unaided Catholic Minority
Educational Institution in India, operating under the governance of the Congregation of Christian
Brothers in India (CCBI), a permanently registered society since 1860. Recognized as a Religious

the school is formally acknowledged by the Education Department and has been affiliated with the

The members of this family are inspired by the Spirit and Charism of the founder Blessed Edmund Rice.
This global Edmund Rice Family, which includes the Christian Brothers, their partners, and diverse
groups inspired by the founder's vision blend a tradition of academic excellence with a renewed
commitment to social justice and liberation through education.
As part of this worldwide Edmund Rice Network, our mission is to provide a transformational
education that empowers students to be compassionate leaders and agents of positive change. Our
vision is to build a just and humane world by educating the hearts and minds of the young,
especially those most in need.
To fulfil this vision, while maintaining the high standards of our established institutions, we are
actively expanding our outreach to ensure quality education is accessible to the poor and vulnerable
youth. Our enduring mission thrives thanks to the dedication of our lay partners—teachers, staff,
and parents—who collaborate with the Christian Brothers, ensuring the charism and values of Edmund
Rice endure for generations to come.
