ADMISSIONS AND FEE STRUCTURE
St. John’s High School, Sector 26, Chandigarh is a unit of the Congregation of Christian Brothers In India (CCBI)
and is an Unaided Religious Minority Educational Institution setup under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India,
as certified by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions. As such, the norms of the minority
institutions are applicable in the admission process. The school imparts education to the Christian community
around and extends its service to the members of other communities to the extent possible.
In 2024-25, admission at the entry level was done in consultation with the Education department by draw of lots.
FEE PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- The school year starts from 1st April and ends on 31st March.
- Fees have to be paid as long as a student’s name is on the school rolls.
- All payments due to the school are to be deposited at the Bank branch indicated in the Pay-in-slips by the due date.

**For those who opt to pay the school fee on a monthly basis, the last date for payment of fee is the 10th of the
respective month.
Fee can be deposited without the late fee upto the 10th of the respective month. After the due date Parents can
deposit the fee with the late fee of Rs. 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) per month.
E.D.G. (Economically Disadvantaged Group)
Being a Christian minority educational institution and in imitation of Jesus, who made a preferential option for
the poorest of the poor of society, the school makes a special effort to serve the poor and needy. In pursuance
of this cause, St. John’s has independently been admitting students from the E.D.G (Economically Disadvantaged
Group) since 1997. It currently has almost 300 such children already fully integrated into the mainstream.
They are spread out from Prep. to Class 12.
