LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The students will be able to:
a. understand the importance of peace and harmony in everyday life.
b. develop the values of kindness, respect, tolerance and peaceful behaviour towards others.
c. understand that their words, actions and choices can help create a happy and harmonious environment.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Class 2 A presented an informative and purposeful assembly on the theme “Harmony and Peace.” The
assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by a brief presentation on Mahatma Gandhi and his principles of
truth, peace and non-violence. Students conveyed the message of the Three Monkeys—See Good, Hear Good
and Speak Good. The assembly concluded with a peace pledge and a thought, reinforcing the values of
harmony, respect, kindness and peaceful coexistence.
