DATE: 25 August 2026
EVENT: Disaster Management Awareness
THEME: Fire Safety
CLASS: Classes Prep to 5
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
● Demonstrate responsible safety measures at the time of crisis
● Identify safe and unsafe situations and objects
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The students of classes Prep to 5 saw a video on Fire safety rules in their
respective classes to be aware of simple prevention measures like keeping
flammable objects away from heat sources and avoiding electrical overloads. If a
fire breaks out, staying calm is critical to act quickly and executing a prepared
evacuation plan. During an escape, individuals should stay low to the floor to
avoid inhaling toxic, rising smoke and check closed doors for heat before
opening them. If clothing catches fire, executing the "stop, drop, and roll"
technique can rapidly extinguish flames. Ultimately, practicing these simple rules
and knowing your exit routes protects lives and minimizes life and property
damage.
