Description: DATE: 6th May 2024 EVENT: Founder’s Day Assembly THEME/ TOPIC: The life of Blessed Edmund Rice CLASS/ SECTION: 8D LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to inculcate a sense of belonging to the institute. Be aware of the vision of the Founder and recognise the values that they must imbibe. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Founder’s Day assembly held on the 6th of May was organised to honour Blessed Br. Edmund Ignatius Rice. It commenced with a thoughtful pause, reflecting on the immense impact Br. Edmund Rice made in the lives of his innumerable students worldwide. The students of Class 8D presented speeches highlighting the vision, values, and educational contributions of our beloved Founder who dedicated his life to educating the marginalised youth. Stressing the importance of carrying forward his legacy of compassion, service, and social justice. The choir’s mesmerising hymns paid tribute to Br. Edmund, captivated even the eagles in awe that seemed to pause as they loomed over the school campus. The assembly concluded with motivational words urging students to embody Br.
