Description: Under the aegis of the St. John’s MUN & Debating Club, a two-day Model United Nations simulation unfolded on the 22nd and 23rd of July, where delegates assumed the roles of global actors, navigating the precarious landscape of Middle Eastern instability. With commendable perspicacity and eloquence, the boys navigated complex geopolitical paradigms, presenting articulate, and often divergent, solutions under a simulated international framework. Day Two was further elevated by the presence of Mr. Guntas Singh Barsal—an eminent MUN connoisseur—who, in a keynote session marked by candour and erudition, expounded on the essence of MUNs, the finesse of diplomacy, and the art of impactful negotiation. The simulation stood as a testament to the club’s ethos—culminating in a confluence of intellect, initiative, and internationalism; a true masterclass in student-led diplomacy
