EVENT: Reading Club Junior School
THEME/ TOPIC: Interactive reading, Book discussions and Fun activities
CLASS & SECTION: Class 5
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students will be able to develop their reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary by reading a variety of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This year, our school hosted a wonderful Reading Club event for students in class five. The event aimed to instill a love for reading and to encourage young minds to explore the vast world of books. Throughout the week, students gathered in the library where they participated in interactive reading sessions, book discussions, and fun activities centered around stories and characters from a variety of genres.
Students shared their thoughts on the books they read, and many expressed how much they enjoyed the stories, the lessons learned, and how reading made them feel more connected to the characters. The excitement was contagious, and it was clear that many students developed a deeper interest in reading.
