LEARNING OUTCOMES: The students will be able to:

1. understand the importance of India’s freedom struggle and value the sacrifices of our freedom

fighters.

2. develop a sense of patriotism, unity and responsibility towards the nation.

BRIEF DISCRIPTION:

The Independence Day Assembly was presented by the students of Class 4 with great enthusiasm and

patriotic spirit. The assembly began with a prayer, seeking God’s blessings. This was followed by an

inspiring play depicting India’s freedom struggle, which highlighted the courage and sacrifices of our

freedom fighters. A beautiful Hindi poem filled everyone with a sense of patriotism. The choir presented a

melodious medley of patriotic songs, followed by an energetic dance performance celebrating the spirit of

freedom and unity.

The Thought for the Day reminded everyone of the importance of valuing our freedom and being

responsible citizens. The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the Principal’s address,

which inspired the students to uphold the values of unity, responsibility and patriotism.

The assembly was a memorable celebration that filled everyone with pride and love for the nation.
