Description: DATE: 6th May 2025 EVENT: Morning Assembly THEME / TOPIC: Service Towards Others, Blessed Edmund Rice Feast Day CLASS & SECTION: 5 D LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students will be able to: Understand the life and mission of Blessed Edmund Rice. Reflect on values of compassion, service, and discipline. Present confidently in front of an audience. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Class 5 D conducted the Morning Assembly on the life of our founder, Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice. The program began with a prayer, followed by a hymn that reflected his values and mission that continue to inspire us. Students highlighted Edmund Rice’s commitment to education and service. They took the audience through the life journey of Edmund Rice that teaches us about the power of kindness, compassion, and education and urged everyone to follow his example and make a difference in their own communities. This was followed by a useful tip each on safety, health and discipline. The assembly was updated with the latest news around the world. The Assembly ended with a meaningful Thought for the Day. The Principal lauded the efforts put in by the boys of class 5D and of all the teachers who supported them.
