Description: DATE: 2ND MAY 2025 EVENT: Class Assembly THEME / TOPIC: Respecting our helpers (May Day). CLASS & SECTION: Class 2 C. LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students will be able to learn to express gratitude and respect through words or actions towards those who help them daily. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The class assembly on the theme “Respecting Our Helpers” was conducted on 2.5.2025 by the students of Class 2C.The objective of the assembly was to highlight the importance of recognizing and appreciating the efforts of those who help us in our daily lives—be it at home, in school or in the community. The assembly began with a short prayer, followed by the song which emphasized kindness and gratitude. Students then presented a short play showcasing that every person who helps us contribute significantly to our lives. The play aimed to spread awareness about treating them with dignity, using polite language and acknowledging their hard work. This was followed by a few speeches and poem recitation dedicated to helpers which beautifully conveyed the message of respect and empathy. The assembly concluded with a thought for the day and pledge by all students to be more considerate and respectful towards all helpers. The principal appreciated the efforts of the students and reinforced the message that respecting others is a reflection of one’s own values.
