The Kindergarten Annual Function of St. John’s High School, Chandigarh, held on December 6, 2024, was a vibrant celebration of young talent, creativity, and joy. The event brought together an enthusiastic gathering of parents, teachers, and students to witness an unforgettable display of performances.
The day commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal, Br.Augustine Jairaj, who emphasized the significance of early childhood education and commended the young learners for their dedication and zeal.
The tiny tots left the audience in awe with a mesmerizing array of performances. Their synchronized moves in traditional Bhangra and ,Bollywood dances, paired with colorful costumes, created a magical atmosphere.
The young singers showcased their melodic talents through group songs, enchanting everyone with their confidence and charm.
The event also featured two captivating plays:
Hindi Play - "Happiness is the Biggest Treasure in Life": Based on the timeless tale of Tenali Raman and Raja Krishnadev Ray, the play emphasized the value of happiness over material wealth.
English Play - "The Rainbow Forest": The students delivered a powerful message on environmental conservation through this beautifully enacted story. From the vibrant depiction of the flourishing forest to its struggles against pollution, the play was a heartfelt reminder to protect forests.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Br.Augustine Jairaj, expressing his gratitude to parents for their unwavering support and applauding the children for their hard work and enthusiasm.
