The Musical - Smike
Date: 17th December to 19th December 2025.
The students of St. John’s added yet another
feather to their caps with the successful staging of the musical Smike.
The popular British musical of the 1970s, based
on Charles Dickens’s novel Nicholas Nickleby, came alive on stage, transporting
the audience into a surreal and enchanting world. The school choir played a
pivotal role, lending soul and splendor to the production with their melodious
and powerful renditions that elevated every scene.
The play was staged over three days, and each
evening the school was illuminated with the magic of Christmas. Junior school
students, dressed as delightful Disney characters, captivated the audience as
they made their cheerful way to the auditorium.
