EVENT: Outreach Program
THEME / TOPIC: - SEEING WITH THE HEART , AN EXPERIENCE IN EMPATHY
CLASS & SECTION: 3 A and 3 B
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to:
1. develop empathy and respect by understanding the abilities, feelings, and
talents of children with visual impairment.
2. learn the value of gratitude and inclusiveness through positive interaction
and shared activities.
The students of Class 3A and 3B visited the Institute for the Blind, Sector 26,
Chandigarh, as a part of their Outreach Programme. The visit began with a prayer,
followed by confident poem recitations by the students. The children of the
Institute were also encouraged to showcase their talents. The interaction
promoted learning, empathy, and a deep sense of gratitude among everyone
present.
