Description: DATE: 05TH MAY 2025 EVENT: Outreach Programme to SOREM Sector 36, Chandigarh THEME / TOPIC: On the occasion of Founder’s Day CLASS & SECTION: 5 C LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students were able to interact with special children, experience their way of working and share some of their knowledge with them. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The students of St. Johns were welcomed by the teachers and students of SOREM.They had carried some goodies for their new friends.Our boys were made to sit in different classes to see how they learn with their teachers. The differently abled children were very excited to see the guests and were very accommodating. Our boys helped some of them in writing and colouring. Later all students of John’s and SOREMassembled in the hall where the Johnians shared information about how to protect the earth through a skit and sang a song on Mother Earth. In response to this the special children performed a beautiful dance on the song ‘Tick tickticktickkasamyehkhaye re, plastic tick napaye re’.At the end all the boys were invited on the Dance Floor and they all danced together. They gelled so well it was an amazing experience. To conclude Reyansh of 5C impromptu expressed gratitude on behalf of the whole class to the audience and everyone applauded.
