THEME: CHOOSE EARTH, NOT PLASTIC

CLASS & SECTION: 1D

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

- Students will understand that plastic harms our Earth, animals and plants.

- Students will learn to differentiate between plastic and eco-friendly materials.

- Students will develop the habit of saying NO to single-use plastic.

- Students will adopt sustainable habits like using cloth bags and steel bottles.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The assembly by Class 1D on Choose Earth, Not Plastic began with a prayer followed by a soulful hymn. The students presented the topic through a short skit, poem and sharing information on the topic as to how plastic harms the planet and how it can replaced with cloth bags and steel bottles. The students took a pledge to keep the Earth clean and green.  The assembly ended with words of appreciation by the Principal.

The assembly was informative and inspired everyone to protect the planet
