Description: DATE: 6TH May 2025 EVENT: Outreach to Gaushala (Cow Shelter) THEME / TOPIC: Visit to Mansa Devi Gaushala/ Cow Shelter CLASS & SECTION: 1-B LEARNING OUTCOMES: Students will be able to develop love, compassion and kindness for animals, and understand the importance of animal care and community service. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: As part of our outreach initiative, boys visited our local Gaushala. They were introduced to different types of cows, and the care takers explained them how animals are looked after. The children had the opportunity to observe the feeding routines, and to assist in simple tasks like offering fodder, jaggery, cucumber and Indian breads. They were allowed to even pet the friendlier cows under supervision. The experience was both educational and heartwarming. Boys were carrying placards made by them saying- “Be kind to Animals” and “Thankyou Cows for Dairy foods”. Boys showed a lot of enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the visit and they also asked thoughtful questions. The caretakers and onlookers were amazed to see the love, respect and kindness demonstrated by the boys towards the animals. FACILITATED BY: Ms. Neha Arora
