Description:
St. John’s High School celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child on 11th October 2024. As a proud advocate of girls’ rights and the government’s initiative Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, various activities to mark this important day were organized. Boys have a crucial role to play in the empowerment of girls, and they too can contribute significantly towards this cause. All students wore a Pink Ribbon, to show their respect and support for the celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, recognizing their vital role in promoting gender equality and empowering girls. Students were shown videos to spread awareness, teachers had discussions with them, they attempted a Quiz on extraordinary women achievers. The Social Justice animators presented a short skit “Women can change the World: Stories of Impact and Inspiration” in the classrooms
